You’ll be craving more and more of the crisp watermelon texture!
As the hot days continue, desserts to make you feel cooler are a must! Watermelon is delicious as is, but with a few simple extra steps, it can be transformed into a stylish sorbet! The crisp and cold texture of this summer dessert is irresistible. Try this recipe and make lots so you always have some in the fridge!
The addition of sake adds flavor and aroma to the sorbet. (For children, please use boiled-down sake.)
250g of watermelon |
50ml of Japanese sake |
1/4 of a lemon |
Mint leaves for garnish |
Step1:
Cut watermelon into 2cm cubes and freeze in the freezer.
Step 2:
Thinly slice the lemon for garnish and squeeze the rest of the lemon.
Step 3:
Mix (Step 1) with a hand blender to create a sorbet-like consistency.
Step 4:
Put (Step 3) in a glass, pour in sake and lemon juice, and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
