Cocktail Recipe: Tapioca Sake Milk Tea

Trendy tapioca combination with sake!
Enhance your tapioca bubble tea by adding some sake when you extract your tea. The sake will give the drink an added umami. The alcohol is heated away so this drink is good for people who can’t handle alcohol!

Ingredients (2 servings)

2 tablespoons of black tapioca
200ml of hot water
1 tablespoon of sake
2 tea bags
2.5 tablespoons of sugar
200ml of milk

How to Make: Steps

Step 1:
Boil water in a pot and add black tapioca into the pot. Boil and stir for 3 minutes.

Step 2:
Take the tapioca out from the pot with a strainer and rinse with water to wash away the run-off jelly. Make sure to drain the water from the tapioca well. Finally, put the tapioca into a glass.

Step 3:
Add 200ml of hot water, sake, and tea bags into a pot. Once the tea comes to a boil, turn off the heat. Finally, pour the tea while adding milk and sugar to (Step 2). For those who enjoy strong aromas, try using aromatic sake and turn it into a cocktail.
