Citric acids are a popular choice for athletes. When taken together with sugar, the combination helps to recover from fatigue. In this cocktail recipe, this nutritional drink is made with orange juice and apple vinegar base, mixed with nutrient-rich watercress. If you add some nikirizake it helps to control the acidity and creates an easy-to-drink and smoother taste!
40g of watercress |
1 cup of orange juice |
2 tablespoons of nikirizake |
2 tablespoons of apple vinegar |
1 tablespoon of honey |
1/2 cup of carbonated water |
Orange slices (For decoration) |
Step 1:
Wash the watercress and dice.
Step 2:
Blend all the ingredients besides the carbonated water in a blender. When the mix is smooth, add the carbonated water and mix lightly.
Step 3:
Pour into a glass, and decorate with a slice of orange.
Pair it with a grapefruit and seafood carpaccio for a light, refreshing meal!
