Let’s make an easy, tasty, and nutritious snack using scallops! Scallops are a versatile ingredient that can be simply seasoned and enjoyed as a snack. They also contain minerals such as vitamin B, and taurine.
The simple seasoning of butter and soy sauce brings out the flavors and makes them crispy and crunchy!
Seafood dishes pair beautifully with a wide range of sake, and this snack is no exception. This snack is recommended to be enjoyed with light and smooth types of sake, such as kimoto junmai sake, rich sake types such as junmai sake and fruity types of sake, such as junmai ginjo sake!
2 scallops (with shells)
2 teaspoons of sake
20g of butter
2 teaspoons of soy sauce
Wash the scallops, remove the meat from the shells, and put them back in the shells.
Lay the scallops in their shells in a frying pan, sprinkle with sake, cover with a lid, and cook over high heat for 5 minutes.
Flip the meat, and when they are cooked through, put butter on top and cook for 30 seconds over low heat. Pour soy sauce over the scallops and serve them with shells.
Tip: Cook the scallops in their shells so that you can enjoy all of the flavors! Make sure to enjoy the broth that is produced as well!
