The perfect dessert for beginners to Japanese sake!
This is an easy and recommended recipe for those who aren’t well accustomed to sake yet. Instead of drinking wine, shochu, or cocktails after your first glass of beer, try this sake-flavored dessert! Even if you are still getting used to sake, the sweet sugary flavor and the smooth texture will help to ease you into the world of sake!
The distinct aroma of sake will surely satisfy Japanese sake lovers as well.
350cc of Japanese sake |
250cc of water |
4g of gelatin powder |
90g of sugar |
4 cherries (canned) |
Step 1:
Put water and gelatin powder in a pot and heat it.
Step 2:
When the water has boiled, stir for an additional 2 minutes to dissolve the gelatin.
Step 3:
Add sugar into the pot and dissolve it. Then, turn off the heat, add sake, and mix again.
Step 4:
Pour the liquid into a plastic mold, cool it in a fridge until it becomes solid, and decorate it with the cherry.
