Refreshing and mellow flavors perfect for summer!
Gazpacho is a cold tomato soup originating from Spain, and is made without using heat.
While creating your own soup at home can seem time consuming, this recipe is very easy and simple.
The sake reduces the acidity and mellows out the flavors, when chilled, so you can drink as much as you like!
This is a recipe that can be quickly prepared and is a great dish to serve guests on short notice.
200g of canned whole tomatoes |
1 cup of milk |
1 teaspoon of boiled-down sake |
1 teaspoon of minced garlic |
1/2 teaspoon of salt |
A pinch of pepper |
1 teaspoon of fresh cream |
A pinch of basil |
Step 1:
Combine canned whole tomatoes, milk, minced garlic, boiled-down sake, salt, and pepper. Blend using a blender and put through a strainer.

Tip: If you dislike the strong flavors of garlic, put (Step 1) onto heat and serve after it has cooled down.
