You’ll be hooked on vegetables!
Your favorite curry that is loved by both adults and children has transformed into a dipping sauce! Adding Japanese sake helps to moderate the spiciness, so even children can enjoy it. In this recipe, we have made it with seasonal vegetables such as bell peppers and cucumbers, for some added colors. It’s delicious as a snack and you’ll be hooked on it quick! In addition to vegetables, it’s also delicious with meat! Why not try it with different ingredients?
50g of cream cheese |
15g of onion |
(A) 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder |
┗ 1/2 teaspoon dashi stock powder |
┗ 1/2 teaspoon of nikirizake (sake with its alcohol evaporated) |
1/2 cucumber |
1/4 red bell pepper |
1/4 yellow bell pepper |
Step 1:
Put the cream cheese in a heatproof bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and make it soft by microwaving for 30 seconds (500W).
Step 2:
Chop the onion into fine pieces, rinse in water, and drain them.
Step 3:
Mix (Step 1) with a spatula until it becomes creamy, add (Step 2) and (A), and mix more. Then cool it in the fridge.

Dish up (Step 4) on a plate and apply (Step 3).
