Enjoy slice of heaven with raisin butter slices!
In this recipe, the raisins are soaked in Japanese sake. If possible, use aged sake to enjoy the mellow flavor and delicious aroma to the fullest.
A combination of unsalted butter and raisins soaked in sake are the perfect pair with a glass of sake itself! Be careful not to drink too much! A perfect and simple snack for parties and special occasions!
30g of raisin |
100g of unsalted butter |
Japanese sake (or aged sake) as needed |
12 crackers |
A pinch of Italian parsley |
Step 1:
Soak the raisins in Japanese sake (if available, use aged sake) for 2 to 3 hours.
Step 2:
Leave the butter at room temperature to soften it.
Step 3:
Filter the sake from the raisin and mix the raisin and butter well. Put the raisin butter on a sheet of plastic wrap, and roll it to a stick shape. Then, cool it in the fridge until solid.
Step 4:
Cut the raisin butter into 7mm slices and serve it on a dish. Decorate the dish with crackers and Italian parsley on the side.
