  Technical Advisor for Hyogo Prefecture
• He successively worked at a technical section of the alcoholic beverages industry administration in appraiser office of Regional Taxation Bureau in Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, and Takamatsu. After his retirement in Chief Appraiser position of Takamatsu Regional Taxation Bureau, he established Ueda Research Institute of Brewing. He is also a technology development instructor for Hyogo Prefecture and a technical advisor for Shikoku Branch of Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association.
