The Tourism Agency of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism; the four international airports of Narita, Haneda, Chubu and Kansai; and the sake-brewing industry have come together to form a campaign to promote Japanese sake and shochu to visitors from around the world.
The campaign aims to introduce Japanese traditional culture and tourist resources to visitors from abroad. Campaign booths are set up at duty-free areas of the airports where visitors can conveniently stop by to enjoy Japanese sake and shochu.
These booths will also offer information on Japanese drinking customs, sake and shochu production, and breweries open to the public.
