In July 2024, we restored and preserved our 370-year-old brewery. With its impressive thick central pillars and sturdy beams, this historic brewery continues to produce sake using premium sake rice grown locally in Tsuruoka.
“Rice, Water, People, Gods” – 100% Local Sake.
Rice: 100% locally grown premium sake rice from Tsuruoka
Water: Natural spring water sourced from 300 meters below the brewery
People: Crafted entirely by artisans from Tsuruoka
Gods: Blessed by the deities of the sacred Dewa Sanzan (the three mountains of Dewa)
Every element comes from the local region, creating an authentic jizake (local sake) that is truly rooted in its origin.
Business Hours:
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Closed on weekends and public holidays
Tasting available through a coin server with 12 types of sake, each for 100 yen. In addition to sake, a variety of original brewery goods are also available.
