Our company was founded in 1836.Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture is located in the banks of the clear Sagae River whrere is overlooking Mt. Tsuki, the spiritual peak of the Mt. Asahi , to the west, and in a basin overlooking the ski resort Zao in the Mt.Ou to the east, It is a land rich in soft water, which is the underground water of Mt. Gassan. This soft water produces sake with a soft and bright flavor, and we have been brewing sake here for generations. Our basic policy is "quality first", and we believe that "climate, ingredients, and people" are important in producing delicious sake. It's a terroir. For more than 180 years, we have been working with the traditional techniques and quality that have been passed down and refined, and with the passion of our brewers, and we have been honored with an award of excellence for three consecutive years at national sake competitions. We currently produce and sell Japanese sake, authentic shochu, and plum wine.
