The company was established in 1925 (Taisho 14). Committed to handmade, meticulous shochu making, the brewery takes great care in every step of production. In 2011, Isozaki Shuzo closed, but its brand "Kihachijou" was inherited, and in January 2021, shochu making was resumed after a five-year hiatus.
