Founded in 1872 (Meiji 5), this sake brewery is a nationally registered tangible cultural property in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture. The representative brand of the concept of local production for local consumption "Mongai Fushutu", which is still a small-scale product is consumed in Tochigi Prefecture even now, more than 90%. The brewery is proactively taking on new challenges, such as the industry's first brewing method, which is not bound by stereotypes.
Based on the solid technology shown by our award-winning history, we will continue to take on new challenges in response to the times, in order to embody both tradition and innovation.
Free and paid tastings available at our Wakamori Antenna Shop during business hours.
Sake brewery and distillery tours available (advance reservations required through our website).*See website for details.
