It's not about controlling, it's about understanding and expressing what's here. Everything important for sake brewing has always here since long ago. The sensitivity of the brewer is reflected as color in the time spun by nature and people. We would like to convey to everyone the "Hououbiden" that can be brewed only now."Hououbiden" is located in Nikko, Tochigi, along the Nikko-Nihonko-Keishi-Kaido road.
Blessed with the abundant groundwater from the Mt. Nikko range and the magnificent and delicate nature, Hououmida has been brewing sake for 150 years since its establishment in 1872.
Brewery tours and tastings are not available.
