Founded in 1871 (Meiji 4), Hamamatsu Shuzou is located about 2 kilometers from JR Hamamatsu Station, a 30-minute walk along the old Tokaido road in the heart of the city. The brewery consists of two facilities: the Showa Brewery and the Heisei Brewery.
The brewery's flagship brand, Shussejo, derives its name from Hamamatsu Castle, a local symbol also known as "Shussejo" due to its association with success and good fortune. This auspicious name has made our brewery beloved by many.
