The brewery is located on the shore of Lake Biwa.Kaizu, Makino Town, Takashima City, has a lot of snow in winter, but it never freezes on the shore of the large lake.In summer, the cool breezes from the lake gently protect the brewery. The sake's name, "Chikubushima", comes from an island in Lake Biwa.It is believed by many to be an island where a god resides, and in recent years it has become a popular power spot.
With the help of such a god, ”Chikubushima” continues its sake brewing.
Please make a reservation in advance to visit the brewery.
Due to small brewery, no more than 50 people can enter.
The store is closed on Tuesdays and open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
