Village Koka [Hidden Japan Sake Famous Production Area] Koka, where Tanaka Sake Brewery is located, is known as Ninja Village. Founded in 1911, the fifth-generation owner brews the famous sake "Harunomine" by himself. All rice is local Koga sake rice "Tamae" and "Yamada Nishiki" and the water is our own groundwater (Suzuka's underground water) and is weakly soft water. The origin of the name "Harunomine" comes from the fact that the sake is brewed in the extreme cold when the mountains of Suzuka are visible to the east and the soft spring air can be seen on one of the peaks.
Reservations required for brewery tours (at least one week in advance).
Tasting and sales are available on the same day (open 9:00-19:00, closed on Wednesdays)
