Amano-shu is a sake brewery that has its origins in the monk's house sake Amano-shu, which is known to have been a favorite drink of the warlord Hideyoshi Taikoh.Founded in 1718, the brewery aims to produce sake with a full-bodied sweet and savory flavor, rather than a dry, all-out sake.Since 2001, the brewery has won the gold medal 13 times at the National New Sake Competition.
*Opening hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Closed only on New Year's Day.
*This tour is held only every Saturday from the end of January to the beginning of March.
Open twice a day at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. (capacity of 20 people for each tour).
Tour fee: 1,100 yen per person including tax (with souvenir)Reservations required.
