Founded in 1949 in Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture, we preserve the traditional direct fire distillation method for crafting awamori. At the same time, we were pioneers in the awamori industry, developing awamori-based liqueurs such as plum and yuzu liqueurs.
In 2018, we revived Imuge, an ancient Ryukyu spirit that had disappeared for over 100 years. In 2021, we began producing rum using sugarcane from Ishigaki Island. Looking ahead, we plan to start brewing Japanese sake using Okinawan-grown rice in 2026.
Our mission is to bring innovation to the awamori industry, and we continue to strive toward this goal with passion and determination.
