Our brewery was established in the early Meiji era in the Ohara district of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture, an area blessed with the cold climate of the Chugoku Mountains, pristine underground water, and abundant high-quality rice.
We use a traditional press known as a fune, where sake bags filled with moromi are carefully arranged and pressed slowly over time, a method rarely seen today.
With a motto of crafting sake with care and dedication, we deliver handmade sake under the brand names Shiraume, Musashi no Sato, Chuko, and Sanno.
