Our company is a new sake brewery founded in 2011 with the aim of passing on to the future the skills and culture of the "Kubiki chief sake maker" tradition in the former town of Yoshikawa (now Yoshikawa Ward, Joetsu City). The brewery continues to produce "sake with umami" by using the "traditional techniques" handed down from generation to generation, with high-quality "sake rice" produced locally in Yoshikawa and "water" enriched by the beech trees on the sacred Mt. Ogamidake. In 2023, our representative brand "Yoshikawa Toji Daiginjo" won a prize at the National New Sake Competition, and "Junmai Umeshu" won a bronze prize at the National Umeshu Competition.
Our company is a sake brewery with a directly managed store located at "Roadside Station: Yoshikawa Toji no Sato" in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture.
Visitors are free to tour the brewery from inside the store through the window, and upon request, we provide explanations of the brewery and the sake brewing process.
