Licensed in 1899, this brewery is beloved in its hometown of Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, where much of its sake is enjoyed as a local favorite. All rice used is grown in Niigata City, creating sake that reflects the character of the region. While we continue to brew classic, everyday sake cherished by the local community, we also pursue “creative brewing,” experimenting with new ideas each year.
The original wooden and earthen-walled brewery building has been renovated and opened as a direct sales shop for our sake. Additionally, we’ve established a "Koji Classroom," a space for hands-on koji-making experiments and various workshops.
Business Hours:
Weekdays 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekends and Holidays 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
