Introduction

Founded in 1822, the brewery is located in Shibata City, Niigata Prefecture, a region blessed with abundant underground water from the Iide Mountain Range and known for its excellent rice production.

Taking advantage of this rich environment, the brewery's brewmaster and brewery workers cultivate sake rice in their own fields, ensuring an integrated approach from raw material production to brewing. The brewery produces the Hatsuhana pure rice sake series and the Kanemasu standard series.

In addition to brewing sake, the brewery also distills shochu. One of their unique offerings, Kanemasu Aka Label, is a sake brewed using the hashira shochu method, incorporating their in-house rice shochu into the brewing process.
