Yoshidaya was founded in 1917 (Taisho 6) and is located in Arie Town, Minami-Shimabara City, in the southern part of the Shimabara Peninsula, renowned for its pristine water sources.
We use water from our private well, fed by the spring water of Unzen's underground streams, as our brewing water. Our sake is pressed using the rare hanegi-shibori technique, which has become increasingly uncommon. Additionally, we brew sake with flower yeast derived from blossoms, creating unique flavors.
