Founded in 1787 as a sake brewery.Now it produces many varieties of sake, shochu, liqueur, gin, and amazake.
The old-fashioned building is still in use and is designated as a registered cultural property.
Surrounded by rice fields, it still retains its sake brewery-like atmosphere.
Tastings are available from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.Guided tours of the brewery must be accompanied by an interpreter, minimum of 10 people, please make reservations one week in advance.
5 minute drive from JR Hausutenbosu station and ample parking.
