Founded in 1928, We are a small shochu brewery located in Kushima City in the southernmost part of Miyazaki Prefecture. Supported by local farmers, microorganisms that live in the brewery, and drinkers, we have been making shochu here for over 90 years. The foundation of the Shouro Shuzo concept is all about "something you can drink any time". Therefore, we dare not express any special strong aroma or other characteristics in the quality of our syochu liqueur, and we place great importance on creating a somewhat calming taste that gently accompanies the drinker. In recent years, while maintaining the tradition of the brewing method, we are challenging ourselves to use various raw materials such as sweetpotato varieties and koji.
Weekdays 8:00-17:00 Only products can be sold at the office.
Brewery tours or tastings are not available.
