Hokugo Town in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture, where Sakura-no-sato Sake Brewery is located, is also known as "Cherry Town" because the Someiyoshino cherry trees bloom earlier than any other cherry tree in Japan, and is surrounded by rich nature with hot springs and clear streams.
Although the brewery has a relatively short history since its establishment in 1994, it began long-term storage in large jars in 1997, and currently has over 5,000 jars in which to store and age its shochu.
Weekdays 9:00-12:00 or 14:00-16:00 (50-minute process, free brewery tour and tasting).Maximum of 20 people.
Reservations must be made at least one week in advance of the desired tour date.
