Founded in 1840 (Tenpo 11) in Arikabe, a post town on the old Oshu Kaido, our brewery has been crafting sake with care, using locally sourced rice and working alongside local brewers.
Situated in a region blessed with the cool climate of Tohoku and pure, soft water, we produce clear and pristine junmai sake by preserving the traditions of the Nanbu brewing style while incorporating modern techniques.
In addition, to appeal to a new generation of sake enthusiasts, we actively embrace approachable designs and flavors
