We, Abekan Sake Brewery, have been operating a store at the foot of Shiogama Shrine since ancient times.
It is said that the brewery was founded in 1716, when the Date clan ordered us to take over the brewing stock and begin making sake for the Shiogama Shrine.
Even today, we pray for sake brewing safety, brew sake for Shiogama Shrine and Shiwahiko Shrine, and dedicate new sake when the brewing season is over.
Brewery tours and tastings are not available.
