Founded in 1673 (Enpo 1), Tamanohikari is a junmai ginjo kura that crafts sake using only rice, koji, and water. We are dedicated to the finest ingredients, and in 2022, we obtained both domestic and international organic certifications, highlighting our commitment to producing organic sake.
Our sake-making process begins with rice polishing, followed by steaming in traditional koshiki steamers, and fully handcrafted koji production. We emphasize handcrafting wherever possible, preserving the traditions of sake brewing.
Our goal is to create “honest sake.” Tamanohikari is known for its flavors that complement cuisine and offer a taste you can enjoy time and time again.
