This association was founded in 1989 to foster the sake industry, which is a traditional industry, as part of the modernization project promoted by the government and as part of the measures taken by Kyoto Prefecture for small and medium-sized enterprises, and is operated by Yamamoto Honke Co., Ltd., Toyosawa Honten Co., Ltd., and Heiwa Sake Brewery Joint Stock Company, which agreed with the purpose.
