Founded in 1900 as a Kuma shochu distillery with a proud 500-year tradition, we have been aiming at honkaku shochu making that is easy to drink and refreshing, while respecting the philosophy of "good rice, good water, and good people" in its production.Hakutake", "Hakutake Shiro", and "Hakutake KAORU", our representative brands of honkaku shochu, are easy-drinking shochu made using the vacuum distillation method, and are loved by fans around the world as a brand that has spread throughout Japan.
