Since founded in 1854, the company has continued to brew sake together with the local community under the philosophy of "Ittoshogu". The region is blessed with abundant forest resources, including matsutake mushrooms, and is home to the famous Ryusendo Cave, a limestone cave. Sake brewed with water from the mineral-rich Ryusendo Underground Lake and sake rice produced in Iwate Prefecture is renowned for its deep flavor and refreshing taste. The representative brand is "Ryusen Yaezakura", and the Nanbu Touji's high level of skill continues to strive for the ultimate sake.
