Kami-Hei Shuzo is a sake brewery that brews sake and craft beer in Tono City, Iwate Prefecture, known as the home of folk tales and hops since its establishment in 1701.
In recent years, the company has focused on brewing sake with locally produced ingredients, and among them, the Tono Komachi series is one of its most popular ""sake brewed with all Iwate ingredients"" products.
Weekdays only (advance reservation required). Tour time: approx. 40 minutes, up to 20 people (with charge if tasting is included).
Tours are not available during the ""making season"" (from the end of October to around March).
Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance by phone or e-mail.
