Located in Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Shata Shuzou sits at the foot of the sacred Mt. Hakusan, in the heart of the Kaga Plain, where fertile lands yield exceptional rice. From this land blessed by nature, we produce our regional sake brands, Tengumai and GoRIN.
Founded in 1823 (Bunsei 6), we have been dedicated to crafting sake by hand that pairs beautifully with meals and delights the palate. Our mission is to share the essence of Japanese culture—sake—with the world while creating brews that bring pride and joy to our local community.
We aim to continue crafting sake that nourishes the spirit, connects people, and fosters meaningful bonds.
