Kokusan Shuzou

The company was founded in 1861 and has a history of about 160 years. Before the war, it was known as the Kakushin Heijuro Shoten, and 10 breweries, mainly in its current location, recorded a maximum sake brewing volume of about 10,000 goku (1,800 kl.), but most of it was destroyed by fire in World War II. In Showa 23, the company adopted the "Kokusan" seal, which had been mainly used for a long time, and changed the organization to the current company name, and inherited the name as Daiginjo sake "Kokusanichi". In Showa 35, "Nada Jiman" was released, and it was named as a sake that can be proud of in the main production area Nada Gogo. Carefully selected sake rice is polished to a high level of refinement and prepared with the famous water "Miyamizu" given by heaven, and it is finished in a rich and flavorful "sake of autumn glory".
