After producing sake in China until the end of World War II, Daiwa Shuzou was established in Akashi in 1955 (Showa 30).
Under the leadership of the late Noboru Yabuta, who served as managing director at the time, the company developed the "Continuous Moromi Pressing Machine," a device capable of quickly separating moromi into sake and sake lees.
By blending traditional sake brewing techniques with state-of-the-art production equipment, Daiwa Shuzou has consistently maintained the same flavor and quality, continuing to craft exceptional sake.
