Founded in 1878 (Meiji 11), Kobayashi Shuzou has consistently pursued the question, "What kind of sake can only be brewed and enjoyed in Hokkaido?"
The trademark Kitanonishiki reflects our aspiration to bring glory and distinction to this region of Hokkaido.
During the era when coal mining thrived, our sake was beloved by many miners, leading to a period of increased shipments.
Today, in the naturally rich land of Kuriyama Town, we remain committed to crafting sake that is deeply rooted in this area and cherished by everyone.
