Asama Shuzou was founded in 1872 (Meiji 5).
Located in the westernmost part of Gunma Prefecture, our brewery stands in a frigid region where cold winds blow in from the Sea of Japan.
Adjacent to our brewery is the Asama Shuzou Tourism Center, a popular roadside stop offering freshly brewed local sake, handmade sweets, and dining options. Situated in Naganohara Town, the gateway to the famous Kusatsu Onsen, it serves as a convenient rest point for travelers exploring Gunma.
