Introduction

Located in the central and southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture, about an hour's drive south of Fukuoka City, is the town of Tachiarai, Mitsui County. The Chikugo River flows majestically through the fertile and vast Chikugo Plain, with the Mt. Mino range in the background, we developed a carrot shochu called "Mezurashi" using ginseng cultivated in the rice carrot and fields along the Chikugo River and its flowing water.(Patented)The Chikugo Plain is a region of flourishing double cropping, where wheat is grown along with rice, and is one of the largest wheat-growing regions in Japan, second only to Hokkaido. We have also developed our own roasted barley shochu using barley from the Chikugo Plain, and currently sell representative brands such as "Fukurou" and "Kofukurou".We manufacture shochu with unparalleled characteristics, and we aim to produce unique and distinctive shochu, carefully making each bottle one by one, so that our shochu can be enjoyed and drunk for many years to come.
