In recent years, the sake brewery has been increasingly nicknamed "Hakata Hyakunen Kura".As the only remaining "active sake brewery" in Hakata, it is a place where sake is still brewed in the olden days, and at the same time, as a historic space that remains in the city, it is also a place where receptions, concerts, and other events are held.
The traditional white-walled storehouse with brick chimneys is a familiar part of the cityscape, and is designated as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
Sake brewery tours are not available.
The production and sales office is open 11:00-17:00 (closed Tuesdays).Tastings are available.
