Introduction

In 1689, Nabeshiten started brewing sake in a warehouse in front of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, but has since moved to Kozakimachi, Katori-gun, where the countryside is more rural. The brewing of sake has long been done by Niigata Touji and Nanbu Touji, but in 1997, the brewery began brewing sake entirely by its own staff in order to produce sake with its own unique characteristics. From the "birth" of sake brewing (steamed rice, koji, and mash) to the "growth" of the sake (oroshi, filtration, hi-ire, storage, and bottling), all processes are carried out by our own staff.
Our first priority is to ship products that many of our customers find "Delicious!".
Sake is between people, and sake is between the heart and the mind. It is my mission to create sake that resonates with people's hearts.
