Tenju Brewery was founded in 1830 in Yajima-cho, Yurihonjo-shi, at the foot of Mt.Chokai, a beautiful mountain in the Tohoku region of Japan. "Tenju" means to live happily Even at the age of a hundred years old, and is a wish for longevity to our customers. Based on the teachings of the company's predecessor that "sake brewing starts with rice cultivation", the Tenju Sake Rice Research Association was founded in 1983, ahead of other sake breweries in the country. Chokai for the brewing water, and with a commitment to rice, water, and technique, we continue to produce "Bishu Tenju", a sake loved by many people.
