Founded in 1848 (Kaei 1) in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, an area blessed with excellent water quality and maritime transport, Sawada Shuzou has a history spanning over 170 years. Using pure spring water from Chita, we craft our sake with a dedication to traditional hand-brewing techniques, faithfully preserving the basics and emphasizing the rich flavors of rice.
The brand name Hakuro embodies our wish for the longevity and well-being of our customers.
We remain deeply rooted in the brewing culture of Chita, Aichi, and will continue to create sake that brings joy to our customers, drawing from the natural blessings of the Chita region.
