Introduction

We have been proudly brewing for over 250 years as the birthplace of Mikawa Mirin.

Our brewery has preserved its time-honored methods and traditions throughout its long history.

Our flagship product, Hon Mirin Kokonoe Sakura, has received numerous awards both domestically and internationally. Notably, it earned the prestigious Honorary Grand Prize at the National Liquor Appraisal Fair during the Taisho and early Showa eras, making it a true standout.

This exceptional mirin is a favorite among renowned establishments, including Michelin-starred restaurants and top chefs across various culinary genres. It has also been cherished across generations in many households, bringing professional-grade quality to everyday cooking.

While steadfastly upholding tradition, we also embrace the challenge of exploring new possibilities for mirin, striving to expand its appeal and potential.

In 2018, we opened Restaurant & Cafe K-an and the direct sales shop Ishikawa Hachiroji Store in a beautifully renovated residence built by the founding family over 200 years ago.

Furthermore, we are committed to offering safe, natural products, free from unnecessary additives, including innovative items made from mirin and mirin lees.
