It was founded in 1659, during the reign of the fourth shogun, Ietsuna. In line with the development of Edo (Tokyo), Nada became popular as "Kudarizake (sake sent from Nada to Edo)" and developed greatly during the Bunka-Bunsei period of the late Edo period (1603-1868).Under the vision of "Tradition and Innovation", Nada Brewery continues to brew sake with a "quality-oriented" approach, focusing on ingredients and the skills of the chief sake makers, while maintaining the "kimoto starter culture" of sake brewing that has been a tradition of Nada since the Edo period.
We use Miyamizu, the mysterious and famous water from the Rokko mountain range, and Yamada-Nishiki, the highest quality sake rice in Hyogo Prefecture, with the utmost care.
