Founded in 1879 in Iidagawa-cho, Akita Prefecture.
The brand name Taiheizan was taken from Mt. Taiheizan, a sacred mountain that is worshipped by the people of Akita Prefecture.
We hone brewing skill, continue to produce sake with good flavor and sharpness in taste, using subterranean water flowing from Taiheizan, and high quality rice.
