This sake brewer is in Genbun era, the first generation of Komai Shosaburō left Omi no Kuni with the intention of Aoun and entered the path of sake brewing in the land of Mutsu. Since the start of the sake brewing business in the 4th year of Yasunaga era (1775), breweries have continued to brew sake for generations. Currently, the eighth generation Shosaburo is committed to rice and yeast produced in Aomori Prefecture as a local sake of Aomori Prefecture, and the brewing water is famous water from the Hachinohe and Kanisawa districts, and is taking on the challenge of making safe and delicious sake that takes into consideration the environment and health demanded by the times.
