Echizen Ono is a long-established sake brewery located in Echizen Ono, a small Kyoto in the Hokuriku region, since the mid-Edo period.Echizen-Ono is located on the upper reaches of the Kuzuryu River and is surrounded on all sides by 1,000-meter mountains, making it a fan-shaped basin rich in water and greenery.Echizen Ono is also a specialty area for "Gohyakumangoku", a type of rice suitable for sake brewing, and the clear water of "Oshozu", one of the 100 best waters in Japan, coupled with the deep snow and severe cold climate, make this area so wonderful that it is said to be "the place created by God for the sake brewing".
